What success looks like in this role:
The Position will be a dedicated Microsoft Exchange On-premises and/or Microsoft Office 365 Exchange Online (EXO).
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
1. Expert-level in Microsoft Exchange 2016/2019 Server and integrated technologies
2. Strong hands-on experience in complex Microsoft Exchange enterprise environment
3. Expert-level experience in Configuring and Administration of High Availability environment for Exchange Services in Hybrid mode
4. Strong experience with Email hygiene solutions such as EXO Advanced Protection, Cisco IronPort, Proof-Point, McAfee, MessageLabs
5. Environmental changes – consolidation, platform upgrades, and divestitures of Exchange, Office 365/Exchange Online
6. Strong experience in archiving technologies for Exchange.
7. Responsible for working with the Unisys Service Delivery Manager (SDM), Unisys Client Executive (CE), and/or direct client manager to strengthen Unisys’ position as a strategic partner, managed services provider, and IT Services Provider for the client.
8. Superior customer-facing and technical skills including the ability to develop a “trusted advisor” relationship with Enterprise customers
9. Provide recommendations on the evolution of the infrastructure to meet short-, medium-, and long-term objectives as it relates to Digital Workplace Collaboration.
10. Provide recommendations regarding improvement and enhancements of the technologies supporting Digital Workplace Collaboration.
11. Test, where appropriate and possible, in a production simulated laboratory environment any new Digital Workplace Collaboration technology prior to production implementation.
12. Optimize the performance of the systems environment, including reconfiguration, maintenance and/or upgrades.
13. Plan, Develop, Test, Provision, Administered and manage all related systems related to Digital Workplace Messaging
14. Manage and plan both hardware and software upgrades as necessary for Digital Workplace Messaging technologies.
15. Create and maintain all documentation for all architecture, build, integration, transition, and maintain phases of the Digital Workplace Messaging technologies.
16. Conduct hardware capacity planning and make recommendations based on future direction and needs as it relates to supporting Digital Workplace Messaging technologies.
17. Support partnerships with Microsoft and other vendors that make up the Digital Workplace technology area.
Secondary functions:
18. Train Digital Workplace IT support team as needed (like Tier 2 support professionals).
19. Provide Tier 3 support to the client’s Service Desk and Level 2 engineers as needed.
20. Have working knowledge of and keep current on Network Infrastructure Topology as it relates to Digital Workplace messaging technologies.
You will be successful in this role if you have:
21. NV1 Security Clearance is required.
22. Must be an Australian Citizen
23. 8+ years of working with expert-level in messaging technologies such as Exchange 2016, Exchange 2019, and Office 365 Exchange Online.
24. Solid understanding of O365 Exchange Online technologies
25. Advance-level understanding of Email gateway technologies like Cisco IronPort, Proof-Point, McAfee, and Message Labs
26. Advanced experience with SMTP relay system
27. High level of understanding of Microsoft’s Productivity Software – Collaboration Suite ( MS Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
28. Strong understanding of ITIL.
29. Ability and willingness to take direction from team manager, SDM, and Client Executives.
30. Ability to communicate clearly with all team members and end-users.
31. Customer-facing presentation and consulting skills.
32. Strong knowledge of Microsoft PowerShell.
33. Proven experience in managing complex Microsoft Exchange enterprise environments and Collaboration Migrations for large global enterprises
34. Microsoft Certifications in the relevant Microsoft technologies required for this position
