About the role The Machine Learning Ops Engineer is a key role within Data Platforms, responsible for delivering innovative and sustainable data driven solutions to contribute to Sportsbet's competitive advantage in the Machine Learning domain. This is an exciting opportunity to support our industry-leading Data Science team, delivering cutting-edge customer-facing ML models and optimizing their performance, along with delivering key components back into our international Flutter brands for wider use. Key responsibilities include: Project Delivery : Implement and leverage Monitoring tools to track model accuracy, drift and data quality Champion Machine Learning Best practices across the business Set up necessary feature pipelines, CI/CD pipelines, adding appropriate tests for your services Lead estimation of delivery effort and timeline for taking Machine Learning solutions to production Design repeatable standardized patterns for Machine Learning solution delivery Identify gaps and implement best practices across operational processes, DevOps, deployments, Feature engineering, security and vulnerabilities etc. Develop and socialize patterns and standards for use across the organization Innovate and challenge the status quo by introducing new ideas and concepts to the team Platform Operations : Optimize models/solutions to ensure we support our service levels and minimize spend. Support what we build - taking ownership of production issues, working with stakeholders through to resolution. Identify and manage ML operational risks. Performance tuning and optimization across our platforms to ensure optimal usage of resources.
