For the first time in over twelve years; the Port Lincoln Hotel is now looking for an experienced Hotel Manager to lead their dedicated team. Role Overview Based in Port Lincoln and reporting to the Hurley Hotel Group Management and Owners, the Hotel Manager of the Port Lincoln Hotel will be responsible for leading and mentoring a range of skilled department managers whilst looking after the property and its day-to-day operations. This role will require regular communication across management, food and beverage, functions, accommodation, housekeeping, maintenance, gaming and cellars departments to ensure seamless delivery of customer service and ongoing sustainability. This role will also be responsible for maintaining a strong team morale whilst overseeing different areas of the hotel. Skills, Knowledge and Experience Hurley Hotel Group is seeking an energetic and versatile candidate with previous experience in a similar role including experience with food service, menus and functions catering. The successful candidate must have knowledge of H&L POS systems along with previous experience training staff, writing rosters in consultation with department managers and managing major events. This role requires excellent planning and organisational skills, ability to work in a team environment as well as autonomously and strong communication skills to be able to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Prior experience managing accommodation and Gaming operations is desirable but not essential.
