This Big 4 Bank is working on a transformation around Merchants for their cards domain around Onboarding, Servicing, Billing and more. They're working on upgrading the systems for Merchants to be onboarded into their systems, with specific focus around pricing, billing and assessing the risk for each Merchant in a timely and efficient manner. They also want to focus on upgrading the product offerings for each Merchant as well. What you'll do: As a Senior Business Analyst specialising in Cards and Payments, your role will be pivotal in bridging the gap between various stakeholders. You will be responsible for analysing business requirements, producing detailed specifications for technology applications, refining backlogs, supporting backlog delivery, and representing customer voices during product roadmap development. Your expertise will also be crucial in assisting developers, engineers, and UX designers in understanding requirements to ensure successful delivery. Serve as the primary liaison between the Domain, Technology, and Business Product Owner Analyse business requirements and produce documented and approved specifications for any new or change to technology applications and/or business processes Work with the Product Owner to refine the backlog of the team through prioritisation, estimation, and decision making Support backlog delivery focusing the team on the highest priority work Represent the voice of the Customer and Colleague when developing the product roadmap Support Developers, Engineers, and UX designers in understanding the requirements so they can deliver on their commitments What you bring: The ideal candidate for this Senior Business Analyst role brings a wealth of skills and qualifications. Essential capabilities include solution gap analysis, exception handling, data mapping, situational adaptability, cultivating innovation, problem-solving abilities, analysis and delivery experience within complex environments. Workshop facilitation skills are also highly valued. Familiarity with tools such as Clarity, Grace, Confluence, Figma, Fiserv product suite and frontline banking systems is advantageous.
