The Maintenance Planner reports directly to the Engineering Superintendent. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with exceptional planning skills.
This position is responsible for:
Maintenance Planning Objectives
* Develop short and long-term maintenance plans for new and existing assets.
* Maximize operating profit, equipment reliability, and availability through planned maintenance.
* Collaborate with supervisors and area coordinators to ensure compliance with the GCAA Asset Management Framework.
Key Responsibilities:
* Administer the computer-based site maintenance system (SAP) to enable safe and reliable coal production.
* Raise work orders using SAP with clear and concise written job instructions.
Requirements:
* Previous experience with SAP is essential.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
* A formal trade qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, or Engineering is necessary.
* Knowledge of FMECA, cost management, and budgeting is advantageous.
* A high level of efficiency, resourcefulness, and personal organization is crucial.
* Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills are required.
* Promoting and maintaining a positive safety performance and workplace culture through teamwork, personal commitment, and application of company values.
* Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment.
* Capacity to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
