Venue Manager/ Food, Beverage & Party Manager Area51, Australia's Largest Indoor Family Entertainment Centre is going through an exciting period of growth with future venues opening in 2025.We are seeking 2 new team members to join our team.An experienced Venue/ Food, Beverage and Party Manager to oversee the operations of our new venue in Redcliffe, and secondly- another experienced Food Beverage and Party Manager to oversee our new Garden City venue at Upper Mt Gravatt .Both venues opening early in 2025.Both Management roles will report directly to the Operations Manager.In these roles you will contribute to the opening of our new venues in Garden City & Redcliffe whilst overseeing relevant business Operations going forward.You will propose and implement strategies to constantly improve customer satisfaction and your venue's development.The role will be responsible for the hiring, development and management of floor/ cafe staff.Previous hospitality management experience is highly desirable.This management role will ensure the team is trained whilst adhering to strict safety requirements.Applicant must be available to work weekends.Main Duties & Responsibilities: Operations: Oversee all business Operations Effectively manage operating costs within budget Analyse trends and provide solutions to issues Develop and implement business strategies to ensure business success Proven leadership and direction to our staff to ensure we maintain a high-performance team Manage/operate fully functioning cafe Oversee rostering requirements Manage Workplace Health and Safety Policy and Legislation for the centre Ensure stock levels are maintained Human resources: Hire and onboarding of new staff as required Oversee staff activities and ensure staff comply with policies and procedures Customer Service experience mandatory Provide support to staff As our ideal candidate, you will have: Experience in a similar role, fast paced hospitality/ entertainment industry Strong understanding of business and financial management Ability to manage a large flexible roster Experience in people leadership and management including coaching, motivating, and development of staff Understanding of basic HR principles and IR legislation Strong OH&S knowledge High level of customer service We are looking for a person who possesses the following attributes: Leadership & Teamwork Strong Interpersonal Skills Professional approach Ability to work under pressure Organisational and time management skills Excellent attention to detail Confident Manner Positive approach to change Great communications skills, written and verbal In addition to the attributes mentioned above, to be considered for this role you will require: Right to work in Australia Current Working with Children Blue Card, or the ability to obtain.Must be obtained prior to commencement of work Current CPR / First Aid Certificate, or ability to obtain If this sounds like you, please forward applications with a cover letter & resume to #J-18808-Ljbffr
