The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Facilitator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standard of clinical care for our residents, leveraging their expertise to educate and support our nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Clinical Facilitator you will play a pivotal role in ensuring high-quality support for our residents through effective training & support or our nursing staff. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to assess and address the training needs of staff, provide mentorship and guidance to foster professional development.
About You
Essential:
* Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
* Demonstrated clinical knowledge.
* Understanding of the ageing process with comprehensive clinical knowledge, particularly related to aged care health issues.
* Knowledge and understanding of the accreditation standards
* Demonstrated high level of analytical, written, and verbal skills.
* Mature outlook with the ability to relate and converse with older people.
* Ability and commitment to working as part of a team.
* Demonstrated initiative and ability to work without supervision.
Advantage:
* Experience in an aged care setting.
* Experience in nursing education.
* Understanding of aged care and associated legislation.
* Understanding of AN-ACC and documentation requirements.
* Experience in supervising and leading staff.
* Basic Life Support accreditation.
* Good organisational and time management skills, including the ability to establish priorities and plan work.
