About the Role
The Saraji coal mine is part of BMA, the 50:50 joint venture between BHP and Mitsubishi Development.
Located near Dysart in Queensland's Bowen Basin on the traditional lands of the Barada Barna people, it is one of Australia's largest mines by recoverable coal reserves.
As a Production Supervisor, you will report to the Production Superintendent and lead a dynamic team.
In addition to an overriding commitment to safety, essential requirements of the role include:
Demonstrated commitment to ensuring a safe and environmentally healthy workplace, including a willingness to maintain high standards of safety, equipment serviceability, housekeeping, and compliance with site procedures.
A sound technical knowledge and experience in equipment operation.
Continuous improvement mindset and aptitude to learn and acquire new digital and technological skills.
Willingness to proactively contribute ideas to solve problems and improve existing processes and tools.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
Current Supervisor S1 S2 S3 certification.
Excavator or electric shovel skill highly regarded.
Unrestricted 'C' Class Driver's license essential.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Previous experience managing a high-volume team.
Demonstrated ability to effectively integrate into new teams and focus on teamwork.
