Academy ensures our teams are safe and ready for site.We currently have an exciting opportunity as a Training Support Officer to join the Compass team within our fantastic Academy training facility at the Perth head office.
You will be part of the team that ensures that our new recruits are trained and ready to be mobilised to site.THE POSITION:Deliver and maintain the training of ESS employees to verify competency of work operations in a safe and efficient manner.Manage team performance.Manage the training of chefs and culinary employees.Ensure the smooth operations of the kitchen.Deliver outstanding catering for special events.Maintain employee satisfaction.Prepare training reports for management.Ensure that all tasks associated with Academy training are performed with due regard for all Health and Safety and Food Safety regulations and are in line with ESS and our offshore/remote division of Compass Group Australia.Promotion of our safety culture framework is expected.THE PERSON:Prior experience as a chef with 7 years of on-tools experience.Qualified chef.Must be confident presenting.Experience in coaching others on-the-job.Sound computer skills.Excellent communication skills.Experience in workplace health and safety issues.The ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive outlook and professional manner.Flexible approach and attitude.Cert IV TAE preferred but not essential.Prior OH&S training and/or accreditation, prior Food Hygiene training and/or accreditation, and/or valid Responsible Service of Alcohol will be highly regarded.THE BENEFITS:Paid parental leave.Multiple salary packing options to make your dollar go further.Easy access to 100+ retail discounts.Opportunity to grow your career and further develop your skills.For further information contact ****** or 1300TALENTWe are committed to providing a recruitment process that is fair, equitable and accessible for all.
