About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our Customer Fulfillment team as we launch a brand new Fulfillment Center in Cranbourne West.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the AU Fulfillment Center leadership team during its phase of expansion and growth, where you will define process flows and shape standard work routines as operations scale up.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain Health and Safety standards within your remit area, promoting an inspiring Health and Safety culture on-site.
* Become a subject matter expert on specific processes and activities within FCs.
* Handle timely data collection and updating operations metrics hourly in your inventory control and systems environment.
* Achieve productivity targets, reduce cost per unit, eliminate errors, and ensure a high-quality customer experience.
* Work closely with other support teams on staffing plans, schedules, and performance levels.
Requirements
* Previous experience leading large, diverse teams.
* Experience in employee and performance management.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Proven experience in innovative logistics, distribution, or manufacturing environments.
* Demonstrated problem-solving skills and analytical skills.
* Completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain/Logistics, or a related field.
