About the Role As a Senior Banking Consultant in our Retail Banking, you’ll play a key role in helping to deliver the desired customer experience by adopting a positive relationship-based, customer centric approach that demonstrates passion for identifying and prioritising the complete financial needs of customers. You will also have to educate customers on easy ways to bank, providing a full range of professional offering expertise and advice to help customers to meet their financial needs and goals. This role is responsible for serving customers directly, having needs based conversations, including to manage them through the associated property purchasing journey (with a focus on The Home Buyers Journey). These roles may also provide support to more junior solutions and service staff, for more complex customer needs. Role Type: 12 months fixed-term, Full-Time (40 hours/week) What will your day look like? As a Senior Banking Consultant, you will have the opportunity to: Act as ANZ products initiator and role modelEagerly support the Branch Manager in delivering ANZ’s retail strategy, in addition to day-to-day operations for the branchMeet customer needs through the provision of ANZ's range of home loan, insurance, investment products, and transactional servicesTake responsibility to ‘know your customer’ from a risk perspectiveDeliver the desired customer experience by adopting a positive relationship-based, customer centric approach that demonstrates passion for identifying and prioritizing the complete financial needs of customersWhat will you bring? To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following: Prior experience in developing strong relationships in a customer focused roleSignificant experience in financial services, preferably within the retail banking sectorExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsLeadership and coaching capabilitiesExperience in being an influential user and promoter of technologyAbility to multi-task, highly adaptable to change and ambiguity You’re not expected to have 100% of these skills.
