Your Opportunity
In response to growing client demand for our Health, Safety and Wellbeing service offering, there is an exciting opportunity for a Manager to join our team in Melbourne or Sydney.
This role takes guidance from the Associate Director or Director in the execution of work activities on engagements. As a Manager within our team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development and execution of health, safety, and wellbeing solutions that drive cultural and operational improvements for our clients while growing your personal knowledge and expertise in this dynamic and exciting field.
Working with leading organisations across a range of sectors including energy, mining, property, infrastructure, government, healthcare, financial services and corporates, education and defence sectors, our team offers a wide range of HSW capabilities, including:
* HSW strategy design and implementation, including key performance indicators
* HSW governance and assurance frameworks
* HSW leadership and culture assessments
* HSW management systems, policies, guidelines and procedures, and due diligence assessments
* HSW auditing to ISO 45001 and ISO 45003
* HSW legislation and regulatory compliance reviews
* HSW gap assessment, benchmarking, data analysis and reporting
* Contractor management framework reviews
* Psychosocial risk frameworks, mental health, and well-being programs
* HSW risk assessments (physical and psychosocial)
* Critical risk identification and critical control management frameworks
* Incident investigation and root cause analysis
* Crisis and Emergency Management

Your Experience

* Strong knowledge of workplace health, safety, and wellbeing management, including at least 5 years of demonstrated experience in HSW compliance auditing and advisory services, conducting physical and psychosocial risk assessments, designing HSW Management System Frameworks and developing and implementing corrective actions and mitigation controls.
* Ability to apply relevant HSW legislation, regulation, standards, and codes of practice.
* General HSW technical expertise across a range of areas including (but not limited to) high risk work, safety observations/inspections, emergency response, the management of psychosocial hazards and risks, injury management, and incident reporting and investigation.
* Demonstrated experience in developing high-quality reports and proposals is essential.
* Strong communication skills, both oral and written, are essential, with the ability to convey information in a clear, concise, and accurate way.
* Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team.
* Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to work across different engagements and with different teams, managing deadlines and ensuring high-quality outputs.

Qualifications
Ideally relevant tertiary qualification in Workplace Health and Safety or related qualifications such as Workplace Psychology or ISO Auditor. Defence clearance, rail industry work card, or other industry credentials would also be beneficial.
