About the Role We are seeking an experienced and dedicated HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) Advisor to join our team. Reporting to the Compliance and Security Manager, this role is crucial in ensuring the safety, compliance, and continuous improvement of our operations. The successful candidate will help drive the highest standards in safe work practices, fostering a culture of trust and excellence.
Key Responsibilities As our HSE Advisor, you will:
Develop, implement, and monitor HSE and quality management systems to meet legislative and industry standards.Conduct risk assessments, audits, and inspections to identify and address potential hazards and non-conformances.Provide training and support to employees on HSE policies and procedures.Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.Liaise with regulatory authorities and external stakeholders on HSE matters.Continuously review and improve HSE processes to enhance operational performance.Be hands-on and able to seamlessly balance the practical demands of on-the-ground operations with the strategic requirements of office-based responsibilities.About You To succeed in this role, you will bring:
A Certificate IV in WHSA Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment (highly regarded).Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within the mining or transport sector.Provide First Aid certificate.A strong understanding of relevant HSE legislation and regulations.Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.Outstanding communication and stakeholder management abilities.Demonstrated experience with HSE management systems, such as MYOSH (desirable).Proficiency in data analysis, report writing, and general computer skills (MS Office suite).A collaborative and proactive attitude with a passion for continuous improvement.What We Offer At Cropline Group, we believe in fostering a supportive and inclusive environment where our employees can thrive.
