About the role
Following the completion of a comprehensive Strategic Review, on Wednesday 8 May 2024 it was announced that Perpetual Limited ( Perpetual ) would become a standalone Asset Management business. As a result, Perpetual has entered into an agreement with an affiliate of Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. L.P. (together with its affiliates, ( KKR )) who will acquire 100% of the Corporate Trust and Wealth Management businesses.
As an Assistant Company Secretary at Perpetual, you will:
5. Play an important role in ensuring good governance and supporting the effectiveness of the corporate governance framework of Perpetual.
6. Draft Board papers in conjunction with the Company Secretary in preparation of Board meetings.
7. Draft Board meeting minutes and action items.
8. Follow up on outstanding action items and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
9. Assist with the preparation of shareholders’ meeting agendas, chairman script, minutes and action summaries.
10. Coordinate and lodge forms with ASIC for changes of Company details.
11. Assist with drafting documents for compliance with ASX Listing Rules.
About you
12. Graduate qualification in commerce, business, governance, or law.
13. Associate or Fellow of Governance Institute of Australia.
14. Outstanding organisational skills, including ability to set priorities and pursue tasks to completion within deadlines.
15. Outstanding stakeholder management and communications skills.
16. Advanced computer and document control knowledge and experience.
17. Experience with electronic board, share registry and regulatory portals.
18. High degree of diplomacy and discretion and be able to maintain confidentiality.
19. Knowledge of ASX Listing Rules’ requirements is highly regarded.
