About the Role
We are looking for an Electronic Instrument Trades Worker to maintain, adjust, and repair electronic instruments and control systems. This role involves:
* Examining and testing machines, equipment, instruments, and control systems to diagnose faults.
* Adjusting, repairing, and replacing worn and defective parts and wiring, and maintaining machines, equipment, and instruments.
* Reassembling, testing operating, and adjusting equipment.
* Advising users of correct operating procedures to prevent malfunctions.
* Installing electronic instruments and control systems.
* Applying knowledge of electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic principles in commissioning and maintaining control systems.
Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A recent experience in Electrical or Mechatronics background with trade/diploma qualifications.
* At least two years of work experience in the industry.
* Good knowledge of concepts, principles, and practices of electrical/mechanical systems.
* Strong organizational skills.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Able to read and understand technical documentation, drawings, manuals, and OEM guides.
* Working knowledge of diagnostic, mechanical, and electrical tools and equipment.
* Able to service and support equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and electronic repairs.
* Must be a team player.
* Registration or licensing may be required.
