About the role
Our forward-thinking client is seeking a skilled Financial Analyst on a 3-6-month contract to provide support during a period of team movement and change. As an essential part of our FP&A function, you will work closely with senior leaders to provide P&L analysis, financial modelling, business initiative evaluations, investor presentations, and end-of-month (EOM) and end-of-fiscal-year (EOFY) support.

Responsibilities:
1. Review P&L discrepancies and perform variance analysis
2. Post financial journals
3. Collaborate across different lines of business (LOBs) to identify budget changes
4. Compile monthly reporting packages
5. Report actuals against the budget
Qualifications:
6. Proven experience in financial analysis, preferably within an FP&A function
7. Proficiency in Excel and TM1; familiarity with business planning platforms is a plus
8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
9. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
10. Ability to adapt to new systems and processes quickly
