A unique team creating an extraordinary City A switched-on role with flexibility 2 year, full time fixed term opportunity | $116,741 - $126,166 + super About the Opportunity As part of our Information Management Program, the Business Analyst will play a key role in delivering technology solutions that meet business needs in a cost-effective and efficient way.
You will work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to understand, document, and communicate business requirements, ensuring alignment between business objectives and technology solutions.Beyond project-based analysis, you will also contribute to the development of our Business Analysis Centre of Excellence by establishing best-practice standards, tools, and templates.
You will also be leading process mapping, requirements gathering, and business case development while fostering strong collaboration between internal teams, external vendors, and project partners.With a focus on delivering strategic outcomes, this role will ensure clear and effective communication between all stakeholders, support the adoption of new business processes, and validate expected benefits of implemented solutions.

About You To be successful in this role you will have: Demonstrated experience in creating standards, tools, and templates to effectively manage business outcomes and leading As-Is, To-Be analysis and mapping new business process to support effective solution adoption.
Demonstrated experience in collaborating with business owners and vendors to develop & manage comprehensive and clear functional, non-functional IT requirements and tender specifications.
Experience in understanding the business needs, evaluate alternatives and justify the recommended approach as part of preparing the business case.
Demonstrated experience in defining benefits maps, profiles and realisation plans.
Demonstrated experience in Agile projects delivery.
