Overview
Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network (BHFLHN) encompasses 40% of the population of country South Australia, including the Barossa, Gawler district, Adelaide Hills, Southern Fleurieu and Kangaroo Island.
The region is an area of significant population growth for South Australia. Our sites and services are located at Mt Barker, Gawler, Victor Harbor (Southern Fleurieu), Strathalbyn, Kingscote, Mt Pleasant, Angaston, Tanunda, Gumeracha, Eudunda and Kapunda. The LHN has 11 public hospitals, 6 aged care facilities and an extensive range of community-based services.
We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic Assistants in Nursing & Midwifery to join the casual pool at the Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network and work in one or more of our diverse health units located in:
* Mount Barker
* Strathalbyn
* Gawler
* Victor Harbor
* Kingscote
* Tanunda
* Mount Pleasant
* Angaston
* Gumeracha
* Kapunda
* Eudunda

About you:
Assisting with the provision of professional, high quality care aimed at improving patient health outcomes, you will assist Registered Nurses with routine tasks with patients associated with the activities of daily living. You will work at all times under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and may also be overseen by an Enrolled Nurse within a care team.You will be driven, dynamic and person centred with a desire to deliver excellent health care to improve the health and wellbeing of local communities. You will thrive working collaboratively within an inter-disciplinary team to partner with consumers, displaying our values of Trust, Respect, Integrity, Collaboration and Kindness. To apply for this role, you will be enrolled as a student in an undergraduate program in nursing or midwifery, and have completed any training relevant to the safe and competent performance of work at this level. Motivated and keen to learn, you will be able to follow instructions and possess effective verbal and written communication skills.
