Experienced Permanent Part-Time Medical Receptionist
An opportunity has presented for an Experienced Medical Receptionist to join a Specialist Clinic located in Robina. We are looking for experienced and highly motivated Medical Receptionist’s to join our Admin team on alternate Fridays and 3 out of 4 Saturdays. This may suit someone who is currently employed as a Medical Receptionist seeking additional hours.
The successful candidate would thrive in patient and customer care-based environments.
The person we are seeking must be motivated and have a passionate approach to providing outstanding customer service and enjoy working in a supportive team environment.
Essential attributes for this role...
An understanding of the Medicare billing system
An understanding of the Private Health Insurance billing system
An understanding of Allied Health billing
Exceptional customer service skills
Essential Criteria
Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team environment
Booking and rescheduling patient appointments
Greeting patients and answering telephone enquiries
Billing, scanning and filing
General Administrative duties.
Ensuring practice policies and procedures are correctly followed
At least 2 years’ experience as a medical receptionist
Strong knowledge of medical billing and medical terminology
Strong organizational skills
Enjoy working with a friendly focused team
Professional phone manner
Current Driver’s License
