The Opportunity
KBR is seeking a talented and experienced RF Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will work on innovative projects that support mission-critical capabilities for our defence and commercial clients.
The RF Engineer will play a key role in reviewing and maintaining radio frequency systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
This is a full-time permanent position, based in Melbourne.
This position will require an active AGSVA NV1 clearance and the successful candidate must be willing to upgrade to an NV2.

Key Responsibilities:
* Review, implement, and optimize RF systems, including antennas, amplifiers, and other components.
* Conduct detailed analysis and simulations to predict RF system performance.
* Perform testing and troubleshooting of RF equipment to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
* Develop and document technical specifications and test plans.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate RF systems into larger projects.
* Provide technical expertise and guidance to internal and external stakeholders.

Required Qualifications, Experience, and Knowledge:
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
* Proven experience in RF system design, analysis, and testing.
* Proficiency with RF simulation tools and test equipment, such as spectrum analyzers and network analyzers.
* Strong understanding of RF principles, wave propagation, and signal processing.
* Experience with defence or commercial RF systems is highly desirable.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
