How you will make contributions that matter
Join Saputo Dairy Australia as an Automation Engineer based at our Leongatha site. Reporting to the Reliability Manager, you will be responsible for implementing and executing on our Automation and Manufacturing Systems Strategy for the Leongatha site.
As an Automation Engineer, you will be the subject matter expert for electrical work and control systems, as well as provide coaching and support to tradespeople for electrical systems diagnostics.
Key elements of your role will include:
1. Leading and managing site OT assets maintenance, both hardware and software to support change control processes and stock management of OT assets, and identifying critical spares
2. Leading and managing site electrical systems maintenance
3. Supporting site IT assets maintenance, in collaboration with the IT team
4. Supporting the CI and Capital Projects Teams as the SME for site Electrical Systems and OT infrastructure
5. Identifying opportunities for improvement and developing business cases for identified opportunities
About you
6. Tertiary qualification in Engineering and/or a relevant Trade Certificate
7. Previous experience in a technically focussed role (ideally from an FMCG / manufacturing environment)
8. Expert knowledge of Automation (Electrical, Instrumentation and Control)
9. Previous experience planning, developing and implementing programs of work that align to site and corporate objectives
10. A strong understanding of process design (as it relates to Electrical in a manufacturing environment)
11. Knowledge of HACCP (preferred)
