Salary package: $115K - $130K + Super

Role Overview:
As the Business Analyst you will be reporting to the Financial Controller. You will be responsible for analysing and managing the financial information related to the costs of production. You will enable the business to make informed decisions through your analysis and business partnering skills. Role requires deep understanding of cost accounting principles to contribute to the optimisation of the manufacturing processes and financial performance.
In utilising your deep understanding of cost accounting principles, you will contribute to the optimisation of the manufacturing processes and financial performance of the business. You will also be responsible for various reporting and help to drive meaningful insights back into the organisation.
Responsibilities:
* Developing and maintaining accurate costing systems concerning labour, materials, and production methods.
* Responsible for all production reporting and analysis to deliver operational performance objectives.
* Maintaining BOMs, and standard costs of raw materials and finished goods within our systems.
* Reporting on labour & material efficiency, machine utilisation, throughput, and other key manufacturing metrics.
* Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and process redesign, and to provide support to key stakeholders with regards to improvement opportunities
* Responsible for integrity of General Ledger (Inventory, COGS & Manufacturing variance accounts).
Candidate Profile:
* You are degree qualified Accountant.
* Preferably hold CA / CPA, or ACCA / CIMA qualification.
* Demonstrable experience in a manufacturing business.
* Strong understanding of cost accounting principles, techniques, and methodology.
* Strong Financial Modelling Skills.
* Good understating of PowerBI will be an advantage.
* You will possess confident, and engaging communication skills.
