Sexual Health Nurse
Part-Time: 22.8 hours per week | Fixed-Term: 18-month contract

About the Role
The Sexual Health Nurse will provide specialist nursing care and education, focusing on the prevention, management, and treatment of Blood Borne Viruses (BBVs) and sexually transmitted infections (STIs).
About You
You are a Registered Nurse with AHPRA and have a minimum of 5 years' clinical experience.
Your Key Skills:
* Create a safe, welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable discussing their health.
* Understanding of Aboriginal health programs and support services for STI management.
* Strong relationship-building skills, including culturally appropriate communication.
* Explain diagnoses, treatments, and prevention strategies clearly.
* A holistic approach to care, addressing physical, social, emotional, and cultural needs.
* Experience in sexual health education and prevention campaigns, including youth and school-based programs.
