Casual Sessional Academic Position
The Research School of Accounting at the Australian National University (ANU) is seeking qualified individuals to join our team as Casual Sessional Academics.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
* Tutor and assist students in Introduction to Commercial Law, Law of Business Entities, and Taxation Law at undergraduate and graduate levels.
* Mark assignments and exams, ensuring timely feedback to students.
* Attend meetings and participate in academic activities as required.
* Contribute to the development and delivery of courses, working collaboratively with teaching staff.
Requirements:
* Qualifications: A Bachelor or Master's degree in a relevant field, such as law or business.
* Experience: Teaching or tutoring experience at the university level is highly desirable.
* Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
* Capabilities: The capacity to engage students in learning, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.
