You will oversee a well-regarded FBP team responsible for help ensuring the organization achieves its financial targets.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Head of Commercial, your responsibilities will include the following:
1. Leading the Monthly analysis of Service line performance and reporting to Executive/Board
2. Managing the annual Service lines budgets & rolling forecasts reflecting internal and external factors. This includes working with Service line Management around key assumptions and addressing pain points.
3. Work closely with the FP&A Manager, Finance Manager and Business Intelligence Manager to develop and facilitate the real time “Metrics that matter” reporting via PowerBI.
4. Providing key insights into the performance of each service line including drivers
5. Provision of commercial decision support around investment/divestment (including business case development)
6. Your overall success will directly depend on your ability to lead the FBP team and build relationships with key Service line management
Ideal Candidate
7. Initial career from mid-tier or Big 4 and preferably with human services experience (e.g. healthcare / aged care / disability etc.)
8. Ability to partner and influence senior customer facing stakeholders
9. Roster optimization and Award/EBA analysis experience (desirable)
10. You enjoy leading and nurturing a team of capable staff and have the ability to help staff deliver to their full potential
11. Are comfortable with ambiguous scenarios and can determine a way forward with regard to what’s important (and what’s not)
12. Enjoy challenging the norm and seek incremental change through tools including MS Query/PowerBI and ideally MS CoPilot (the organization is working on adopting of AI for decision support)
