Due to an increase in workload, the Corporate Services; Governance team of Local Council based in Northern Sydney is seeking for an experienced Access to Information / GIPA Officer.
ABOUT THE POSITION.
A 4 week opportunity.
You will work alongside a highly dedicated and performing team to process informal & formal access to information applications and carry out relevant research activities regarding public access.
DUTIES.
* Process formal/informal GIPA applications * Liaise with third parties/stakeholders * Register/create Customer Request via CRM * Attend to requests from the Public Officer and Manager Governance & Council Support for records retrieval & more SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
* Previous Council/Public Sector experience * Proven organisational & time management skills * High level of communication skills * Ability to work autonomously but also in a team CULTURE.
Good balance between autonomy and collaboration plays a key role in the success of your team.
You will be provided training where required and have the established support of your team.
