About the position

An exciting opportunity has become available for an exceptional Music Teacher to join our progressive and supportive Music Department. The successful candidate will be committed to the delivery of best practice in Music Education.
This is a fixed-term full-time position to cover Long Service Leave in Term 3.
Essential to this role
* Qualification in Music Education
* Qualifications in Secondary Education
* Current accreditation with the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
* Demonstrated delivery of effective teaching and learning programs, fostering an inclusive and challenging learning environment
* Demonstrated experience achieving advanced outcomes in stages 4 and 5 music courses
* Demonstrated experience delivering quality co-curricular music experiences, including the musical direction of instrumental and/or choral ensembles
* Propensity to infuse a Christian ethos into teaching practice
* Commitment to one's own ongoing learning, in alignment with the development directions of the Department
* Professional and personal integrity
* Being proactive and innovative
* Be a confident and collaborative team player and an excellent communicator
