Position Overview:
As a New & Used Vehicle Sales Consultant at The Big Garage, you will play a pivotal role in delivering an exceptional customer experience and driving the growth of our sales. You will be responsible for guiding customers through the purchasing process, from initial contact to final sale, while providing expert knowledge on our vehicle inventory and financing options.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement:
Greet and engage with customers as they enter the dealership.
Assess customer needs and preferences through active listening and questioning.
Provide detailed information on vehicle features, specifications, and benefits.
Sales Process Management:
Conduct test drives and demonstrate the advantages of vehicles to customers.
Prepare and present customized sales proposals and financing options with the support from the dealerships business manager.
Negotiate terms and close sales, ensuring customer satisfaction and achieving sales targets.
Product Knowledge:
Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of vehicle inventory, including new and pre-owned models.
Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
Administrative Duties:
Complete and process sales paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
Follow up with customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and encourage referrals.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities in CRM systems.
Customer Service:
Address and resolve customer inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly.
Provide exceptional service and foster long-term customer relationships.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with sales managers, finance department, and other team members to ensure a seamless sales process.
Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and other dealership activities.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Previous experience in automotive sales or a related field preferred but not required.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
Education:High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
