Residential option on Groote Eylandt considered. As the Superintendent Mining (Systems and Improvement), you will be responsible for collaborating with the Operational Superintendents to deliver continuous improvement across the value chain. Other key responsibilities include, but aren't limited to: Lead and identify operational improvement initiatives Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to identify improvement areas Provide analysis and advice on key operational decisions by assessing performance and identifying gaps Lead the dispatch/mine control team ABOUT YOU You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following: Process improvement techniques (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) and strong analytical skills focused on mobile equipment and operational optimisation Solid understanding of mining engineering, operating techniques and software Knowledge of HSE principles, including hazard identification and risk assessment Ability to engage in team collaboration, build relationships, and drive performance while fostering accountability and development Qualifications for this position are: Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or relevant discipline (desirable) South32 is committed to building and maintaining an inclusive and diverse workforce that reflects the communities in which we operate.
