Hospital Outreach Post-Suicidal Engagement (HOPE) Program Senior ClinicianDependent on qualification and experienceFull TimeThis role is classified as an RPN3, SW2, OT2 or Psych2 in line with the Victorian Public Mental Health Services Enterprise Agreement.About the Role:The HOPE Program has been developed to provide assertive integrated aftercare for consumers experiencing a suicidal crisis.Tailored to meet the unique needs of individuals, HOPE Clinicians work collaboratively with consumers to develop a shared understanding of how their experience of suicidality unfolds in terms of contributing psychological factors, situational triggers, cognitions, impulses, behaviours, and emotions (Jobes, 2012).Using a range of therapeutic approaches, HOPE clinicians will then work with consumers to identify and build coping strategies to help reduce their risk of suicidality.HOPE clinicians work with consumers, in conjunction with Wellbeing Support Workers, to help address their identified psychosocial needs.About You:To be successful in this role, you will be a Qualified Registered Nurse, Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, or Psychologist and hold a current registration and/or accreditation with the appropriate body.Experience in therapeutic work is essential, preferably with managing suicidality specifically.You will have:Demonstrated knowledge, experience and expertise in the assessment, safety planning, treatment and support planning, and therapeutic interventions of consumers experiencing suicidality.Demonstrated experience in working with at-risk population groups including, but not limited to: ATSI, CALD, LGBTQIA+, Youth, Disability, Neurodivergence, Victims of Trauma.Ability to liaise, consult, and collaboratively work with Primary & Tertiary Mental Health Professionals, Community Support Service Providers, and a consumer's chosen support network in pursuit of achieving optimum outcomes.Commitment to client-centred, trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and recovery-oriented practices.Proven ability to liaise and consult with a broad range of Primary Health Professionals and psychosocial service providers in pursuit of achieving optimum outcomes for consumers.Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.Demonstrated organisation and time management skills, and the ability to attend to competing demands.Relocation Assistance:Up to $10,000 incentive payment applies to eligible candidates: be reimbursed for rent, childcare, school fees, relocation costs and more.This role has been identified as being eligible for an incentive payment of up to $10,000.Eligibility criteria to qualify for this incentive apply.The new workforce relocation and incentive grants program is being administered by Rural Agency Workforce Victoria (RWAV).For more information, please visit RWAV.Our Relocation Officer is available to support new staff to relocate, settle and integrate into the local community.For more information, please contact our recruitment team via ******.How to Apply:All applications must be lodged online by clicking on the 'apply now' button.For a position description and for further information regarding the Hospital visit www.mbph.org.au.Further information can be obtained by contacting:Zoe BlackieActing HOPE ManagerE: ******Applications Close: 23 January 2025#J-18808-Ljbffr
