Projects include jetties, wharves, bulk loading facilities, dredging, reclamation, navigation aids, marinas, and underwater pipelines in Australia and internationally.We are seeking a suitably experienced person to supervise and lead a marine construction crew specialising in wharf and jetty construction and refurbishments. It includes the following responsibilities:Plan, implement and supervise all daily operations on site with a “hands on” approach Strong focus on safe work culture and processes Manage and develop crews including rostering and on-site training Prioritise tasks and allocate resources accordinglyWork to project timelines and targetsManage subcontractors Complete relevant site documentation and reportsConduct site workgroup meetings including SWMS, pre-start and toolboxMaintain the integrity of siteProvision of site inductions for employees, contractors and visitors Manage and maintain allocated site vessels, plant and equipmentManage and control site expenditureEnsure that all risks and activities are managed in accordance with quality, WHS and environmental obligationsAbout you:We are looking for someone who takes leadership seriously but knows how to have fun.
