We are looking for full-time and part-time AHPRA registered Nurse Practitioners to provide advanced nursing assessment, diagnosis, care and intervention to patients and their carers.This is a 38 hour a week position, 9am-5pm or part-time minimum 3 days a week Monday to Friday, with no shift work, involving a combination of telehealth and clinical work.Reporting to the Collaborating Medical Practitioner, the NP will liaise with a number of internal and external stakeholders including a Clinical Governance Committee, Territory and Sales Managers, Senior Nurse Practitioners, Pharmacy / Facility / Hospital staff, GPs and other allied health professionals.Role & Responsibilities :Provide expert care to patients and their families in accordance with Nurse Practitioner legislation, including :Conducting thorough patient assessments and diagnosesPrescribing medications as neededOrdering and interpreting pathology and radiological testsProviding telehealth consults to patientsReferring patients to appropriate health professionalsManaging patient care upon referral from other health professionalsPrescribing and administering approved formulary medicationsParticipating in peer and case review proceduresContributing to clinic workforce development programsFollowing clinic procedures and policiesCompleting accurate documentationUnderstanding clinic equipment usage per manufacturer instructionsEnsuring patient information security at all timesApplying "Quality Use of Medicines" for patient well-beingSkills & Experience :Compliance with relevant Federal / State legislation, DoH and Clinic policiesHold current Immunisation Certification as per your relevant State / Territory requirementsCurrent AHPRA registration and Registered Nurse endorsementMaintain eligibility to participate under MedicareComplete CPR and Anaphylaxis training annuallyAt DBG Health, we offer a dynamic and supportive work environment where you can make a real impact.
