Description About the Role Opening in February 2025, the Coonawarra Wilam Aquatics Centre (Plenty Campus’s new Aquatics and Wellbeing Centre) features a 25-metre pool, learn-to-swim pool, strength and conditioning gymnasium, beautiful changerooms and facilities, and classrooms designed for our Physical Education and Health and Human Development classes. Ivanhoe Swim is excited to bring its Learn-to-Swim and Swimming Squad programs to the Plenty Campus and local community. We’re seeking vigilant, dedicated Lifeguards for multiple casual positions to ensure water safety, enforce pool rules, and respond swiftly to emergencies. Join our team and play a key role in opening the state-of-the-art Coonawarra Wilam Centre at Plenty Campus Your Everyday Supervise swimmers to ensure safety and adherence to pool rules. Monitor the pool area and respond promptly to any incidents or emergencies. Provide first aid and CPR when required. Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming pool environment. Work collaboratively with the Pool Manager and team to deliver an exceptional aquatic experience. About You Current Lifeguard Certification. Level 2 First Aid Certificate and CPR. Current Working with Children Check. Strong observational and problem-solving skills. Ability to remain calm and take decisive action in emergencies.
