Position summary
Temporary full time: 12 months contract
As a Communications Specialist, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the Marketing and Communications team. Reporting to the Marketing and Communications Manager, you will work collaboratively with various departments to implement brand and advertising strategies, manage public relations, and enhance Annecto’s profile and reputation through both digital and traditional media channels.
This position is based in Footscray Head office and the preferred candidate must be able to attend the Footscray office 2-3 days a week.
Key responsibilities
* Develop and execute communications and marketing strategies that align with Annecto’s strategic plan.
* Maintain and expand Annecto and it's enterprises brand and external communications strategy.
* Drive creative and strategic communication solutions to meet internal and external demands.
* Support the CEO, Executive Leadership team, and operational teams in achieving market penetration and business growth.
* Deliver proactive public relations and media programs.
* Coordinate events, including the Annual General Meeting and town hall meetings.
* Work as a marketing business partner to support internal customers from various locations, departments and Annecto's enterprises.
* Demonstrated strong relationship management, verbal and written communications are essential.
Qualifications and skills
* Bachelor or postgraduate qualification(s) in marketing and communications, business, journalism, or a related field.
* Experience in a marketing and communications role within a comparable organisation.
* Strong data analysis skills and a solid understanding of marketing concepts.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships and rapport with key stakeholders.
* Experience in public relations, media, and event management.
* Expertise in developing and executing branding strategies.
* Proficiency in utilising contemporary electronic communication channels.
* Proficiency in managing small and medium projects.
* Demonstrated leadership skills.
