The primary role of the Operating Theatre Cleaner is to work as a competent reliable member of the health care team under the guidance and supervision of Nursing and Theatre Technician Team Leader.
The Operating Theatre Cleaner is an integral part of the team as they clean, prepare, and maintain the Operating Theatre cleanliness to a high standard to ensure compliance with infection control principles and Victorian Hospital Cleaning Standards.
The Operating Theatre Cleaner ensures patient and staff safety by providing a clean and safe Operating Theatre environment for all users.
The Operating Theatre Cleaner must adhere to the policies and procedures of the Operating Theatre and Hospital.
