The NRMA Sydney Olympic Park, New South Wales, AustraliaIn this exciting new career opportunity, you will be responsible for undertaking the pre-commissioning of EV charger communications equipment and for providing remote commissioning support to field teams during site construction. You will also provide ongoing day-to-day troubleshooting and support to the Operations Team in conjunction with Engineering and Technology.This role is ideally located in Smithfield but could be accommodated in Sydney Olympic Park with flexible/hybrid working.What You'll DoSet up and configuration of routers and network switchesVerification of device communications and correct readingsProviding remote technical support and troubleshooting during site commissioningAct as point of contact for BAU operational enquiries from suppliers, contractors, non-technical staff, and the NRMA call centreProvide remote fault resolution support to OperationsLiaise with Engineering and Technology to resolve more complex site issuesDevelop and maintain commissioning and fault management documentationProvide base level operational support to charger and charger comms fault findingWhat You'll BringIdeally suited for someone with experience in fault finding, configuration, and/or technical support of EV, electronic, communications, or control systems.Strong knowledge of EV charging systems and related technologiesExperience in commissioning and technical support across key charger brandsProficient and methodical in troubleshooting and problem-solvingExperience in producing high-quality process improvement and fault report documentationExcellent communication and organisational skillsProven time management and organisational skills, with the ability to work well under pressure of multiple deliverables within tight deadlinesOEM Technical training in key charger technology would be advantageousFormal training in electronic systems, EV technology, communications, or control systems would be advantageousWhat's in it for you?At the NRMA, we aren’t just about discounts (although you do get these).
