Managing Director at Trayne Consulting | HR Professional - Recruitment Solutions | Co-Founder at Trayne Consulting & Topargee RV, Caravan & Marine…I am currently recruiting an experienced Town Planner to join our client's rapidly growing Project Development company that works on large multi-residential projects based in Tanah Merah.
This role will see you manage strategic and statutory planning activities for developments whilst working with the Management Team to source new opportunities for future projects.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, we are looking for someone who is seeking a full-time permanent role working Monday – Friday, 7.30am – 4.00pm with flexibility to work extended hours and is happy to travel to site to meet the needs of the business.
Due to the nature of this role, this opportunity is a work from the office role only, no WFH.
The key duties of the role are as listed, but not limited to:Undertake site analysis and research for large multi-residential projects providing critical feedback on potential issuesProvide town planning advice, create assessments, reports and strategies in a timely and pro-active mannerCoordinate and prepare high quality development applications in line with current codes and regulationsManage projects through full scope of works in line with local Council legislations & regulations, ensuring the assigned scope is planned, scheduled, and deliveredEnsure all documentation is completed in a timely and efficient manner and uploaded into the Clients PMSLiaise with all interested parties, not limited to architects, engineers and surveyors ensuring clear lines of communicationCarry out ad hoc works as requiredTo be successful in this role, you must have the following proven key attributes:Demonstrated experience in a Town Planner role, working on large multi-residential projects highly regardedHold a relevant Bachelor's Degree accredited by the Planning Institute of Australia (PIA), such as a Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning, Bachelor of Urban and Environmental Planning or Bachelor of Planning.Ability to assess and process development applications and prepare associated correspondence and reports.Be able to prioritise multiple tasks, but more importantly, communicate to understand when things are needed and be able to express expectations about when they can be delivered.Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Excellent Microsoft office skills including Word, Excel, & Outlook is imperative, as well as the ability to use Dropbox and the ability to learn new systems quickly.Must have a fully flexible attitude to assist with any part of the business to ensure timely build of projects and handover.The ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times.If this role sounds like you, and you are ready to take on this exciting new opportunity with a positive, focused and can-do attitude then please apply online attaching your up-to-date resume.
