About The Role:
Due to a recent internal secondment, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced International Marketing Manager to join the team, and lead the Curtin brand in international markets, whilst providing guidance on tactical marketing initiatives to support international student recruitment. Lead a team of marketing and digital specialists in this broad reaching role which will see you gain exposure to central areas, all faculties, and our global campuses.
The International Marketing Manager plays a crucial role in providing strategic guidance and recommendations to the Deputy Director of Marketing Acquisition and the Deputy Director of Global Student Recruitment with respect to identifying and capitalising on global marketing opportunities. This position entails the planning, management, and execution of comprehensive global marketing programs tailored to facilitate the recruitment of international students to Curtin University, with a specific focus on the Perth campus.
As this is a campaign focused role involving lead generation, managing agencies and the creative process, to be successful in this role you will be a strategic thinker, have experience working in several different markets (, domestic, and international) and understand the nuances between them. You will also be technically sound in digital marketing and have a broad understanding of marketing strategies.
Our ideal candidate will be comfortable and strong at creating new relationships with our partner institutions and their marketing teams and managing existing relationship effectively. You will also understand the criticality of a sales and marketing partnership and working hand in hand with our global student recruitment manager and team.
The International Marketing Manager is required to form close working relationships with Curtin's global leadership team, the broader University Marketing team, and the various global campus marketing teams to strengthen Curtin's brand and reputation on a global scale to both internal and external stakeholders.
