The role of the Senior Grant Agreement Manager includes the following duties and is expected to be conducted with a broad degree of self-direction:
oversee and manage agreements with higher levels of complexity and identify potential risks to relevant internal stakeholders when appropriatedraft new funding agreements and variations to existing agreementsundertake assessments of performance reports and financial acquittalscomplete risk assessmentsapply sound judgement and make evidence-based decisions aligned to the operating environment and legislative frameworksguide others to identify and mitigate foreseeable risksengage with internal (Regional Offices, Program and Policy Areas) and external (grant recipients) stakeholders regarding the management of agreementsprovide leadership and supervision to achieve outcomes for NIAA stakeholders, providers and partners in line with operational requirementsassist to plan and coordinate team workflow to ensure even distribution and management of prioritiescontribute to monitoring and reporting on team deliverables ensuring quality is maintainedundertake reviews using internal quality assurance and continuous improvement processesidentify opportunities to enhance team performance in an environment of collaboration, continuous improvement and changesupervise, support and develop staffpossess (or have the ability to acquire and develop) in-depth knowledge of grant agreement management and the associated legislation.Candidates with broadly transferrable skills across the above functions are strongly encouraged to apply.
