Medical Receptionist (Multiple Positions)
Be a part of a great and friendly team in an organisation with multiple medical practices. Currently looking for a Medical Receptionist (multiple positions & Multiple Locations) to start immediately at our busy general practices based in Valentine, Branxton, Huntlee, Paterson, and Clarence Town. Training will be provided.
Branxton Medical Practice & Huntlee Medical Practice (shared days between practices)
Paterson Medical Practice & Clarence Town Medical Centre (shared days between practices)
Valentine Medical Practice
We need Full Time & Part time Medical Receptionists to join our fully accredited practices and fast-growing team of doctors, nurses, and administration staff across the board.
Also looking for a Floater who can work across all our practices to fill in shifts on short notice (i.e., sick leaves, annual leaves). Additional travelling allowance will be paid for the right candidate on top of the hourly rate.
Daily tasks and responsibilities include:
1. Excellent customer service as being the first point of contact to patients with efficient communication.
2. Effective management of patient appointments and answering all phone queries in a professional and friendly manner.
3. Patient results/recalls/invoices and receipts.
4. Patient records and maintenance.
5. Medicare & Medical Insurances Claims and reconciliation.
6. Assisting Senior Management in daily office tasks.
7. Maintaining policies and procedures.
8. Assisting in ordering medical and office supplies.
9. General admin and ad-hoc duties.
10. A team player that works well within a team environment.
11. Maintaining cleanliness of the medical practices.
Selection Criteria / Preference:
1. Professional, friendly, and courteous manner.
2. Must be able to work in high flow patients waiting rooms.
3. Must have a reliable car and be willing to travel (to cover ad-hoc shifts).
4. Initiative, time-management & flexibility.
5. Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
6. Ability to work in a team and independently.
7. High level of work ethic and flexibility with work hours; must be able to work on weekends with a rotating roster.

Remuneration: Hourly rate according to Modern Awards and as per experience and duties given. ABOVE RATES ARE INDICATIVE ONLY.
