We are on the search for a passionate and innovative Pastry Commis Chef who is ready to produce an unforgettable experience through production of the finest French style pastries in Melbourne. All while continually maintaining high standards and furthering their skills in a tight supportive & collaborative team.
About the Opportunity
Under the guidance of our Executive Pastry Chef, you will set the standard in our fast-paced kitchen by delighting guests with a daily selection of exquisite pastries and fresh products. A commitment to creativity and consistent premium quality is essential in this role.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented pastry chef to join our high-performing team. You will be scheduled to meet the demands of our busy operation, with shifts varying across a 7-day rotating roster, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
What you'll need to be successful
* Certificate III or higher in Patisserie or equivalent experience.
* Experience working in a fast-paced 4-5* resort or restaurant environment.
* A passion for all things pastry with a strong focus on product quality and presentation.
* Knowledge of HACCP standards and procedures.
* A creative and innovative mindset.
* A desire to further develop your skills.
* The flexibility to work across a 7-day roster including weekends and peak holiday periods.
* Full working rights in Australia.
