About The Role We have an opportunity available for a talented individual to join us as an Electrical Technician. You will be responsible for planned maintenance, minor upgrades, fault and incident response and repairs across a diverse range of asset classes such as traffic control signals (TCS), variable message signs (VMS), traffic monitoring units (TMU), variable speed limit signs (VSLS) school signs and street lighting Key Responsibilities: Responsible for inspection and repairs for TfNSW roadside devices and equipment, ensuring accurate record updates and scheduled maintenance. Ensuring compliance with safety policy and environmental standards, and manage timekeeping for individual and work teams. As a technician you will take responsibility for effectively managing your own and small works team’s daily task. Leading daily tasks for individual and small teams, addressing any asset faults, incidents, and customer complaints along with investigating and repairing electronic devices Report on and liaise with other stakeholders when required and work collaboratively with all internal and external staff members of Connect Sydney. Work shifts as required, and be available to respond according to set rosters or provide coverage when needed.
