A large financial institution is seeking ServiceNow Engineers to support a critical migration and transformation project. This team is focused on rebuilding and migrating service request management functionalities from a legacy system to a new ServiceNow platform, alongside ongoing automation and integration improvements.
The Role
As a ServiceNow Engineer, you will be responsible for:
* Migrating and rebuilding service request management functions in ServiceNow
* Designing, developing, and automating workflows, forms, and integrations
* Enhancing ServiceNow's automation capabilities, working closely with cloud platforms like AWS
* Developing API integrations (JSON, REST, ServiceNow Spokes) to connect ServiceNow with enterprise systems
* Managing BAU tasks, including incident resolution, peer reviews, and minor system enhancements
* Providing technical leadership (for senior roles), guiding junior engineers and ensuring best practices
Key Skills and Experience
* ServiceNow expertise - ITSM, request management, scripting, UI policies, workflows
* API & integration experience - Working with REST APIs, JSON, and ServiceNow Spokes
* Cloud familiarity - AWS knowledge is a plus, particularly for automation
* Strong problem-solving skills - Ability to troubleshoot and improve workflows
* Financial services experience (preferred for senior roles)
