BJ Crowley Plumbing Pty Ltd is seeking a full-time Truck and Dog Driver to join our team in Port Macquarie, NSW. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods across our area delivering materials to a wide range of sites/locations for our clients.What you'll be doingSafely operate a truck and dog trailer combination to transport goods and materials to various locationsLoad and unload excavators and various other equipment/machinesConduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working orderAdhere to all relevant road transport regulations, including maintaining logbooks and complying with work/rest hour requirementsAssist with loading and unloading of the vehicle as requiredProvide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers and colleaguesMaintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the vehicleParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and safetyWhat we're looking forMinimum 2 years' experience as a Truck and Dog Driver in the road transport industryCurrent Heavy Combination (HC) driver's licenceStrong knowledge of road transport regulations and safety practicesExcellent driving skills and a commitment to safe driving practicesGood communication and customer service skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAttention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solvingConstruction white card essentialVOC or statement of attainment in excavators and skidsteers and experience loading and unloading machines will be highly regarded.Experience operating excavators and skidsteers would be extremely beneficial.What we offerBJ Crowley Plumbing Pty Ltd is a leading provider of plumbing services in the Port Macquarie region.
