The level 2 Senior Systems Analyst is a client-facing, business and technical position responsible for all aspects of managing production of Charles River IMS systems Asia Pacific clients as part of the Charles River Software as a Service (SaaS)/Managed Services offerings, including Application Management for hosted and non-hosted clients.

CRD helps create enterprise investment management software solutions for large institutions in the areas of institutional investment, wealth management and hedge funds. What you will be responsible for
This role will involve working closely with Clients, providing expert level remote management, administration and support for Client production Charles River IMS solutions, including:
1. Client assistance in optimal use of the system. Analyze customer’s usage of the system to help provide workflow or process recommendations and improvements
2. Support planning, priorities and issue management
3. Project management assistance for services projects
4. User administration/privileges
5. Parameter configuration changes
6. System availability
7. Application and database performance tuning
8. Daily operational processing monitoring and support
9. Charles River IMS and database software patches
10. Charles River IMS version upgrades
11. Assistance with problem support and resolution
12. Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery assistance
13. Working with Charles River colleagues to smoothly transition new Clients to production operation.
14. Working with vendors as partners to deliver a tightly integrated, seamless service to Charles River Clients.
15. Participation in the development and on-going refinement, enhancement and continuous process improvement for the services.
16. Participation in the investigation, implementation, and operation of 3rd party tools to enhance/improve, automate, and streamline the delivery of the services.
17. The role will involve periodic out of hours support
What we value
These skills will help you succeed in this role:
18. Experience with Financial Services Investment Management, Trading or related systems highly desirable (e.g. Charles River IMS).
19. Proven ability to partner with various internal departments to deliver superior customer service.
20. Experience in MS SQL Server, Oracle, and/or Sybase database configuration, operations, and basic administration functions.
21. Any experience with the following is preferred: servers, operating systems, networks, scripting, XML, programming languages, job scheduling software, system monitoring software and disaster recovery/business continuity.
22. Excellent customer service skills, technical troubleshooting skills, and interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
23. A background in portfolio management and trading system applications is preferred.
Education & Preferred Qualifications
24. Minimum of 8 years’ relevant industry experience.
25. Bachelor’s degree in a technical or analytical discipline such as Computer Science, IT, Financial Engineering, Engineering, Science, Economics, Math’s or Statistics preferred.
