This opportunity allows you to lead the exploration strategy for a leading mid-tier mining organisation, driving growth and developing new mineral resources. Reporting to the COO, your duties will include: Developing Exploration Strategy: Set and implement exploration plans to align with the company's growth objectives. Project Management: Oversee exploration projects from target generation through to resource estimation. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of safety and innovation. Budget & Resource Management: Manage exploration budgets to ensure cost-effective and efficient operations. Stakeholder Liaison: Engage with JV partners, consultants, and regulatory bodies to drive project success. Compliance Oversight: Ensure all activities comply with health, safety, and environmental standards. Technical Reporting: Regularly report progress against targets to senior leadership and stakeholders. Is this for you?
