Career Teachers are working with a lovely Primary School based in Normanton, who require a Year 6 Teacher for after Christmas.
Ideally you will have spent significant time working in Key Stage 2, particularly in Year 6. SATs preparation and Intervention/Boosters experience would be a real bonus but this is not essential.
The right candidate will be highly organised with excellent classroom management skills, setting high expectations at all times and helping to invigorate and inspire pupils throughout their journey.
You must be confident with behaviour management, able to lead the support staff within your classroom, and create informative schemes of work.
Ideally, you will have great curriculum knowledge and the ability to make your lessons both engaging and fun.
The roles require teachers with:
1. Experience of teaching within Key Stage 2.
2. Strong knowledge of the curriculum.
3. SAT preparation, Booster, and Intervention experience.
4. The natural ability to plan and deliver the current primary curriculum with confidence.
5. The ability to provide engaging, quality education to pupils.
6. The ability to be creative and demonstrate fun and intelligent classroom management skills.
7. The ability to build strong relationships with the primary school staff, children, and parents.
8. Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
