The program will offer initiatives such as high school outreach, pre-tertiary academies, and scholarships, aimed at inspiring, supporting, and equipping female students to pursue and excel in STEM disciplines. As the Program Convenor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping this transformative program designed to address the underrepresentation of women in STEM. Collaborating with teams across faculties and university services, you will oversee the coordination, delivery, and evaluation of initiatives spanning outreach, pre-tertiary academies, and scholarships that empower and inspire the next generation of women in STEM. Reporting to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Education, your key responsibilities will be to: collaborate with faculties, Sydney Future Students, and Student Life to align and deliver program goals effectively act as the primary liaison with the donor, providing updates on progress and outcomes provide academic oversight and strategic direction to outreach, academy, and scholarship programs oversee budget management, ensuring program activities are delivered within financial parameters manage program governance and reporting, including the evaluation of outcomes against objectives lead engagement with internal and external stakeholders, fostering productive collaborations. About you demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale, multi-faceted programs in a higher education setting excellent program management skills with an understanding of project life cycles and methodologies financial literacy with experience managing budgets and ensuring fiscal accountability strong skills in stakeholder engagement, including collaboration with academic, professional, and external partners. Experience in donor liaison will be advantageous a proven ability to deliver measurable outcomes through strategic program oversight and reporting proven academic record of teaching and learning in a STEM discipline coupled with a doctorate or PhD in a relevant field.
