About the role:
Reporting to the Electrical Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for the management and coordination of all Process Control System activities associated with the mine infrastructure and plant operations.
Key duties include but not limited to:
1. Ensuring PCS infrastructure is installed and maintained to appropriate standards and our PCS systems are programmed and maintained to operate safely and efficiently;
2. Seek and lead continuous improvement opportunities;
3. Manage and maintain the integrity and security of the PCS system and make necessary changes to the SCADA system to ensure efficient operations.
Key skills and experience:
4. Relevant Trade Qualification;
5. 2 years’ experience in a similar role;
6. Experience in an operations environment;
7. Knowledge of Citect/SCADA systems;
8. Knowledge of Cisco networking;
9. Underground experience – preferred.
