About the Role
Lead a purpose-driven and passionate organisation through a 12-month part-time contract, guiding it through the merger process.
Collaborate with the Board and team to deliver exceptional services while advancing the merger towards its mid-year conclusion.
Maintain the organisation's reputation by ensuring adherence to its purpose, vision, and values throughout and beyond the merger.
Navigate funding and sector engagement processes through networking and advocacy efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Efficiently manage operational and financial matters.
* Provide strategic direction and effective management to the team.
* Offer transparent reporting to the Board.
About You
We seek a leader with expertise in governance, planning, professional management, and strong interpersonal skills.
Candidates should have experience in community services or similar positions/industries.
Merger process experience is beneficial but not required.
A flexible role that offers a challenge would be ideal for semi-retirement, consulting, or parental responsibility situations.
